PAPER DOCUMENTS

We can scan any size of paper document from 5.5" X 8.5" to 11" X 17". Our scanners have automatic document feeders and are specifically designed to handle large volumes. We can scan at a range of resolutions from 200 dpi. to 600 dpi. in black & white, greyscale or colour. Our output formats include TIFF and PDF.

The images are returned to you on CD and may be indexed by file name and folder or by linking to a database of your choice. If the Adobe Acrobat PDF format is used there is additional indexing available using the Adobe Acrobat Reader including full text indexing and retrieval. BOOKS

With our specialized scanning system we can scan archival books up to 17" x 23" in size. By using the "planetary" scannning method the books are scanned face-up so that the binding is not damaged. The book can then be published in electonic format on CD with indexing and full text search capabiltity.

PHOTOS

We can scan any type of photo from 35mm slide to negative film to 8.5" X 11" at a range of resolutions from 200 dpi. to 4,800 dpi. in greyscale or 48-bit full colour. We will return the images to you on CD or DVD indexed by file name or linked to a database of your choice. We can also create DVD slideshows of your photos for viewing on your television DVD player. We have a wide range of output formats including JPG, GIF, TIFF and PDF.
